Softjourn is looking for a new hero to join our marketing team! We’re looking for: Someone who understands how to listen to the market, reach the right audiences with the right messages, positively influence our companies business goals with effective communication — and have a little fun while they’re at it!

- English — Upper-Intermediate or higher, both written & verbal is a must!

- Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Reddit, Quora).

- Technical and creative writing capabilities. You can define a topic, gather information, develop well-written social posts, or join the online discussion, AND come up with creative ways to get your audience interested in it. Canva or Crello skills would be a plus.

- Ideas brainstorming skills. You feel that you can research and identify topics that would be good for the blog, and industry guest bloggers.

- Strategic and analytical thinking. You’re able to gather metrics and data from multiple sources and put that information to work to help achieve the company’s business goals. Google Analytics knowledge would be a plus.

- Organization and time management skills. You’re a pro at keeping track of and organizing all the details and deadlines associated with social media community management and PR activities.

- Thirsty for new knowledge. Be willing to own the process.

Will be a plus:

- At least 1 year’s experience in a similar field.

- Managed multiple social channels in the IT US market or similar area.

- A journalism/marketing background or diploma would be a plus.


- Design and implement social media strategies, defining topics, creating social content, and publishing it throughout various social channels and blogs. Basic knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Reddit, Quora platforms is a must.

- Coordinating with internal teams to know everything there is to know about the brand, and effectively represent it.

- Using advanced search technics to research industry resources for external publication opportunities, maintaining the database of websites find new creative ideas for link building, thought leadership activities, and brand awareness.

- Conduct outreach activities and link building efforts to establish connections with resources editorials, bloggers, owners, and marketers.

- Monitor, analyze, report, and interpret social media and outreach campaigns performance data to determine the success of marketing and communications strategies.
