Senior QC Engineer (Audio)

We collaborate closely with the customer, located in the United Kingdom, and we also coordinate with a QA system in California. We have an excellent relationship with the customer and are willing to continue that.

The project focuses on developing conference room cameras, particularly the audio module. That is really a high-potential direction for American and European markets now. The device will work on the latest Android OS. We will develop audio machine-learning solutions. So, it means extremely interesting, innovative, and unconventional tasks.

From SoftServe's part, we already have 2 QC Engineers in that particular direction and over 20 QCs working with cameras.

IF YOU ARE

• Experienced as a QC engineer with at least 4 years in the field
• Analytical in thinking, with strong problem-solving abilities
• Positive in your approach to work
• Experienced in testing Android applications using ADB
• Knowledgeable in command-line tools and Linux or Ubuntu environments
• Well-versed in various testing methodologies
• Skilled in working with hardware devices and applications lacking a graphical user interface
• Experienced in testing audio-related features
• Familiar with audio terminology such as frequency response, sample rate, EQ coefficient, waveform, and FFT
• Experienced with third-party DAW tools, including Audacity
• Familiar with audio subjective listening evaluation and identifying audible artifacts such as pops, glitches, distortions, and dropouts
• Educated in music (would be a big plus)
