Platform Architect – Finance - Order to Cash

ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB:

As a Platform Architect for MTC Finance, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and robust SAP and non-SAP Finance solutions that integrate seamlessly with our MTC Finance processes leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance finance efficiency and drive sustainable growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Legal, BSO, Engineering, and Security, to ensure the successful deployment and operation of MTC Finance systems in alignment with Cyber Security and IT architecture.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Architectural Design: Develop and maintain the architectural blueprint for the MTC Finance platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives, finance best practice and engage in risk assessment and mitigation

• Develop and align Digital Platform roadmap with Product Manager and Enterprise Architecture

• Ensures solution designs are in-line with Enterprise Architecture principles and strategic directions, maintaining the Digital Platform conceptual integrity over time

• Creates a roadmap & supports the definition of strategic direction for technologies that enables business driven technology solutions. Assesses all available solutions to ensure that they are aligned with the strategic directions and fit for purpose, considering the development, customization, integration and maintenance of the technology solutions

• Identification of enabler Epics for sub-platforms, technology, security and interfaces and ensures capacity allocation for enablers to maintain the architecture runway

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in platform architecture from an international organization with deep knowledge on SAP Finance modules and finance business processes preferable in FMCG. Experience from implementation/realization of IT products and services, including project management and product life cycle management

• Strong project management skills, knowledge and experience with New Business Functionality projects

• Strong vendor management skills, knowledge and experience in vendor selection, contracting, collaboration

• Strong FMCG industry-specific solutions knowledge in the one of the functional areas (Finance, Commercial, good understanding of Warehouse and Logistic in correlation with Finance), proficiency in at least one of the sub-areas listed

• Strong FMCG business process awareness in one of the functional areas of Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

• Strong communication and influencing skills

• English proficiency

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex Finance systems

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, international standards like ANSI/ISA95) are a plus

• Experience with machine learning and data analytics in a Finance context

• Knowledge of Finance processes and systems, including ERP
