Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will focus on developing and expanding our international distribution network to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international markets and a proven track record in establishing and managing successful distributor relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Expand International Distribution Channels: Focus on increasing product distribution and sales through international distributors, identifying new market applications.
- Identify and Evaluate International Distributors: Research and target new market segments to find suitable distributors.
- Analyze International Market Trends: Monitor competitor activity, regional customer needs, and market trends within the nutraceutical and cosmeceutical sectors.
- Develop International Market Entry Strategies: Create strategic plans for expanding distribution networks and collaborate with management on long-term market entry.
- Build and Maintain Distributor Relationships: Establish strong, long-term partnerships with distributors and attend international events for networking.
- Optimize International Sales Processes: Develop sales presentations, negotiate agreements, and manage the sales process from onboarding to closing.
- Manage International Product Adaptation: Gather customer feedback, relay it to product teams, and collaborate on product adaptations for international markets.
- Forge Strategic International Partnerships: Identify and manage partnerships with organizations, retailers, and e-commerce platforms to expand market reach.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in international business development, sales, or distributor management, preferably within the nutraceutical, cosmeceutical, or a related industry.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess market opportunities and develop effective strategies.
- Strong understanding of international business practices, including contract negotiation, logistics, and cultural considerations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence across diverse cultures.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial agreements.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in additional languages.
- A degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with Hubspot.
