Chief Accountant

For one of our client - an American organization - I am looking for a candidate for the position of Chief Accountant for the company's branch in Ukraine.

Place of work: Kyiv, Ukraine

Responsibilities:

• Management of subordinate accounting team (+ 5 people) -
• Management of all financial activities of the company ensuring up-to-date and compliant accounting records
• Supervision of all tax matters, accounting and fiscal issues
• Supervision of financial matters in the area of accounting, treasury, taxes and financeP
• roviding up-to-date and compliant accounting records for both US GAAP and local statutory purposesS
• upervision of tax mattersE
• nsuring that all financial statements meet local reporting requirementsT
• imely filing of company tax returns - corporate and income taxes, VAT and social securityD
• eveloping and maintaining good relationships with all key business partners in the Ukrainian entity, including establishing and managing relationships with internal and external audit, outsourcing company, tax advisors, fiscal authorities, financial institutions and othersC
• lose cooperation with the Country Director to ensure achievement of the country's financial goalsR
• econciliation of balance sheets, including accounts Inter-coM
• aintaining proper inventory controlR

equirements:H

• igh education on economics/finance/accounting or relevant work experience,A
• t least 3 years of experience at managerial level within Finance/Accounting in an International/Multi-national company, preferably with a US parentG
• ood all round knowledge of local corporate and income taxes, local GAAP and US GAAPE
• xperienced in ERP accounting systems, both use and implementation; proficient with ExcelA
• dvanced English (both spoken and written) - at least B2K
• nowledge of ORACLE is a plusV
• ery strong supervisory and interpersonal skills, demonstrated leadership skills and a team playerO
• wnership, decision making skills,P
• articipation in Transformation or Systems implementation projects is a plusO
