Legal Counsel (Part-time)

We're looking for a Legal Counsel to support and optimize our legal operations across corporate, international, and contract law. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, managing legal risks, and contributing to strategic decisions. At Vira Games, we value independence, initiative, and impact. Requirements

• At least 4 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate and international law.
• Practical experience in drafting and reviewing contracts in both English and Ukrainian.
• Knowledge of corporate law processes, including company registration, liquidation, and statutory changes.
• Understanding of CFC (Controlled Foreign Companies) compliance and reporting requirements.
• Experience with remote work platforms, such as Deel, is a plus.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
• English — confident intermediate level or higher (for reading, drafting, and communication).
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts and supplementary agreements for companies, their clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Providing legal support on corporate law matters, including company formation, liquidation, and amendments to corporate documents.
• Managing contractor agreements through the Deel platform.
• Preparing and submitting information related to Controlled Foreign Companies (CFC) reporting.
• Providing legal guidance on GDPR, data privacy, and other compliance matters
• Managing intellectual property matters: trademark registrations, copyright protection
• Participating in tax structuring and legal risk assessments together with the finance team
• Representing the company in interactions with regulatory bodies, banks, and auditors
• Legal support for cooperation with App Store (Google Play, Apple App Store etc):
• Ensuring compliance with platform terms and applicable regulations;
• Advising on disputes, policy violations, and monetization legal risks.
• Performing other legal support tasks as required by the company.
