Description

A long-term project involving development of TV streaming applications for international broadcasting company headquartered in New York, US. The company owns several television channels/brands and would like to develop state-of-the-art TV streaming applications for Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, and Android Mobile platforms.

Requirements

• Proficiency in BrightScipt and Roku Scene Graph (RSG)
• 2+ years of experience in building media streaming applications (OTT) using Brightscript/RSG or other connected TV platforms like Samsung TV, LG TV, Fire TV, Xbox, etc.
• Experience in using different Roku Developer Tools (RALE / Roku Deep Link Tester / Roku Stream tester / etc.)
• 2+ years of commercial software development experience in at least one of the following languages: C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby
• Familiarity with video encoding and streaming formats.
• Ability to debug, optimize, and enhance existing Roku applications.
• Knowledge of web services and API integrations.
• Proficiency in front-end and UX design principles.
• Experience in SDK design
• Strong English language skills
