Procurement and Grants Compliance Assistant - Ukraine

Project Summary

Tetra Tech is providing energy expertise and related technical and material assistance to the Government of Ukraine. This project focuses on enhancing the resilience, reliability, affordability, and security of the electricity, natural gas, and district heating sectors. The scope of work includes addressing immediate challenges and physical damage to energy infrastructure, as well as preparing for Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction and long-term energy security.

Position Summary

The Procurement and Grants Compliance Assistant provides administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth operations of procurement and grants processes.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist with initial reviews of procurement and grants packages for completeness and adherence to requirements.
• Maintain organized filing systems to support audits and reporting.
• Serve as a point of contact for routine inquiries and facilitate communication between teams.
• Support process improvements by gathering feedback and assisting in workflow optimization.
• Compile data for reporting purposes.
• Other tasks as requested.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least 1 year of administrative or support experience, preferably in procurement or grants management
• Basic understanding of FAR and USG regulations, or a willingness to learn
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Ukrainian, with strong Russian and English language skills

Line Management Responsibility: N/A

Physical Demands and Work Environment: This will be a hybrid position, but will require frequent, regular attendance at the office in Kyiv, and may entail occasional travel within Ukraine for interaction with local stakeholders.
