We are looking for an experienced accountant to collaborate with a key Estonian client. This position requires a seasoned professional in the field of accounting, who has experience in bookkeeping and month-end closing procedures.

As an accountant, you will be responsible for the accuracy of financial records, supporting timely month-end account closures, and ensuring compliance with internal and client accounting standards. You will work closely with both local colleagues and the client's team from Estonia, so clear communication and a high level of professionalism are essential.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining accounting records and timely recording of business transactions in registers
• Controlling and executing the month-end closing process
• Preparing and reviewing financial reports and account reconciliations
• Collaborating with the financial team of the Estonian client to ensure compliance with local regulations
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  
  

Key requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting, with a focus on bookkeeping and month-end closing
• Language skills: English proficiency at B2 level or higher; must be able to communicate clearly with international clients
• Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools
• Education: Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage deadlines and priorities while working with international colleagues
• Proactivity, reliability, and adaptability to work in a multicultural team
