You will operate where data analysis meets personal engagement. In one moment, you're examining performance metrics to identify risks early and support placements with sound rationale. In the next, you're working one-on-one with a student, diagnosing confusion as it happens and guiding them forward before minor setbacks escalate into genuine failure. This is not about passive observation. You own the results.

What You Will Be Doing

• Examine student performance metrics to create precise, actionable academic summaries that drive timely interventions
• Take full accountability for academic progress within your assigned student cohort, covering placement decisions, testing strategy, and responsive actions
• Lead targeted academic recovery sessions that pinpoint underlying issues and clear learning obstacles in the moment
• Facilitate post-assessment coaching to distinguish true knowledge deficits from simple errors and prescribe focused corrective steps
• Work alongside academic leadership and family support teams to flag emerging risks and refine systems or tools

• Creating summaries that sit unused
• Operating exclusively in the background without direct contact with learners
• Delegating academic responsibility to teachers, tutors, or families
• Delivering unfocused tutoring without diagnostic intent

Learning Designer Key Responsibilities

Provide precise, prompt academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably improve learning velocity for your assigned student groups.

Basic Requirements

• Minimum 1 year in a coaching, teaching, or training capacity with documented results or feedback
• At least 1 year of sustained, hands-on work with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring is not sufficient)
• Proven background in data science, education, EdTech, or student support combining analytical and relational responsibilities
• Fluency in both spoken and written Ukrainian and English
• Advanced competency in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and visualizations
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to establish trust rapidly with students and families
• Demonstrated application of AI for data interpretation or workflow automation with quantifiable productivity improvements

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
