Accountant for the Payroll Department

We are currently looking for an Accountant for the Payroll Department to join our team and support payroll operations with accuracy and efficiency.

Kindly note that this role supports remote work, but only from within Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Calculation of vacation pay, sick leave, alimony and final settlements upon termination
• Preparation of certificates and references
• Control of incoming data for payroll calculation
• Handling of large volumes of information
• Execution of other operational tasks

Requirements

• Higher education in Economics, Finance or Accounting and Auditing
• 5+ years of experience as a payroll accountant
• Background in payroll calculation for companies with 300+ employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office as a confident PC user
• Expertise in 1C ZUP, 1C 8 UTP, Excel, Client-Bank and Outlook
• Knowledge of Ukrainian legislation regarding payroll accounting, calculation and processing in enterprises
• Analytical thinking, responsibility and attention to detail
• Diligence, thoroughness and execution of tasks
• Capability to work with large volumes of information in a multitasking environment
• Hybrid work schedule: 2 days per week in the Kyiv office and 3 days remotely

Nice to have

• Experience in international companies
• Basic English at Pre-Intermediate level
