Middle General QA Engineer (Ukraine)

We are currently seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our growing team.

Project Description:

The project is part of a large-scale enterprise ecosystem operating across multiple sectors, including finance & legal, care & support, sales, and telecommunications. It is in an active phase of continuous development and maintenance, with several dedicated product teams and an autonomous QA team. The environment is dynamic, with regular feature releases, ongoing updates, and plans for launching new applications.

This is a large Swiss enterprise project covering finance and law, care and support, sales, and telecommunications. We offer long-term cooperation within an international team, with ambitious plans for growth and the launch of new products.

Responsibilities:

• Able to quickly learn functional and technical processes in a complex environment
• Collaborate closely with IT Product teams and Automation Test team to improve the Test coverage and ensure the quality of deliverables
• Design, write, maintain, and improve automated tests (Java)
• Prepare the Tests prerequisites, such as data (SQL) and configuration
• Execute manual test cases, analyse results, and report software defects in Jira tool
• Verify fixes and perform regression tests to ensure that issues are resolved
• Report on test results and defect reports
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to date Test documentation
• Practical experience using AI tools to support daily work tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA process, methodologies and best practices
  
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing
• English level B2 (Upper-Intermediate) at least is a must
• At least 1 year of experience in automation testing (Java)
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Deep knowledge of testing approaches, techniques, and general theory
• Experience with API testing (e.g. Postman)
• Experience with mobile testing
• Desire to grow in automation testing
• Experience using AI tools in daily work.
  
  

Tools:

• Knowledge of automation Testing tools and frameworks
• Good Knowledge of Jira/Confluence and Gitlab
• Good Knowledge of Test Management Tool Xray/Zephyr or equivalent
• Good Knowledge of Postman/ReadyAPI tools
  
  

Would Be a Plus:

• ISTQB FL certificate
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering i.e Computer Science
