Bilfinger Ukraine is looking for Process Piping Engineer for any of our offices in Ukraine (Kyiv and Lviv).

What is the job?

Preparing, planning, and implementing complex design work in the engineering phase of the project and gathering market and technical knowledge, in accordance with the program of requirements, laws and regulations, technical guidelines, client requirements, and within the framework of the own field, to contribute to the realization of design work and to guarantee the development of the level of knowledge of the department.

We expect:

• Higher education in Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering (required)
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience within EPCM projects, with a strong focus on the design phase
• Solid understanding of engineering standards and best practices, including mandatory knowledge of Ukrainian standards; familiarity with international standards will be considered an advantage
• Proven experience in 3D piping design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and industry-standard 3D design tools, such as Plant 3D, Aveva PDMS/E3D, and Navisworks
• Experience with Caesar II pipe stress analysis will be considered a strong asset
• Demonstrated capability in delivering mechanical engineering scope at both basic and detailed design stages
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• English proficiency at an intermediate level or higher, with confidence in reading, writing, and communicating on technical subjects
  
  

Duties and responsibility:

• Preparation and delivery of project and detailed design documentation, including layouts, sections, isometric drawings, and material take-offs (MTO)
• Development of 3D models for piping systems, equipment, and supporting steel structures
• Ability to interpret and work with P&IDs, as well as vendor drawings and technical documentation
• Design and coordination of piping routing and layout solutions
• Close coordination with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, and I&C), including регуляр clash detection and validation of integrated 3D models
• Active participation in design reviews and technical discussions
• Effective communication with project teams and clients to resolve technical challenges and ensure project alignment
• Conducting site visits and surveys, with subsequent documentation, assessment, and reporting on existing conditions
