Senior Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Automation Quality Engineer with strong Java skills and experience in Big Data analytics.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in test automation or quality engineering, strong database querying skills, and hands-on knowledge of Spark SQL, including aggregates. Theoretical knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, and Apache Airflow is also expected.

Responsibilities

• Experience in automation quality engineering, including designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions.
• Hands-on experience with coding tasks, including writing, reviewing, and debugging code as part of the testing or development process.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and clarify requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong Java development background (or basic Scala knowledge combined with solid Java experience).
• Significant experience in Quality Assurance / Test Engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases.
• Good understanding of Spark SQL, including aggregations and data validation.
• Theoretical knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Theoretical understanding of Apache Spark and Apache Airflow.
• Availability to join evening calls (till 21:00 Kyiv time)
