Description

We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn Trainee .NET Cloud Engineer (Azure) to join our engineering team in Lviv. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers to develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications and services using .NET and Microsoft Azure.

Our client is one of the world’s leading providers of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways, as well as maintenance and modernization services. The company operates in more than 100 countries and has manufacturing facilities and R&D centers across the United States, Brazil, Europe, China, and India. As part of this project, you’ll contribute to the development of a next-generation elevator control system that enhances the user experience. The solution enables smartphone-based elevator calls, remote operation, and autonomous robot access, helping shape the future of smart building mobility.

Requirements

• Programming Fundamentals: Familiarity with programming concepts and .NET technologies (e.g., C#).
• Azure Fundamentals: Basic understanding of core Azure services, such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.
• Databases: Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Version Control: Awareness of version control systems (e.g., Git) or a strong willingness to learn them.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Enthusiasm for solving technical problems and troubleshooting in a collaborative environment.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Learning Mindset: Strong motivation to learn new technologies and continuously improve technical skills.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: Some software development experience, especially with .NET technologies (C#, etc.).
• Education: Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• DevOps Basics: Willingness to explore DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud Security Awareness: Basic understanding of, or eagerness to learn about, cloud security best practices, including identity management and compliance.
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Assist in learning and contributing to the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based applications and services using .NET Core and Microsoft Azure under the guidance of senior team members.
• Support the team in integrating Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Storage into applications while gaining hands-on experience.
• Write basic, maintainable code using .NET technologies with mentorship, following industry best practices and team guidelines.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting cloud applications to ensure performance and reliability while learning effective problem-solving strategies.
• Work closely with cross-functional team members.
• Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and development processes as part of your learning experience.
• Actively learn about the latest cloud technologies, especially Azure services, and cloud development best practices to build technical expertise.
