The company is cooperating with one of the biggest car manufacturers to develop systems for a wide variety of car lines.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Software Engineering, or related field, and multiple years (approx. 20 years) of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Сandidate must have experience and strong knowledge in both the hardware and software design aspects of the system. A candidate possesses the ability to drive the process for both hardware and software components, from initial project concept and prototyping through to mass production and deployment.
• Excellent understanding of hardware and software development, and capable of driving system design in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience in designing and integrating complex hardware/software systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of the interplay between physical components and software architectures.
• Multiple years of experience in offering direction and influence to engineering management on different organizational levels
• Demonstrated proficiency in research and development of leading-edge technology in the automotive industry, preferably in the infotainment or ADAS domain, and automated driving systems
• Excellent understanding of industrialization processes and related factory collaborations
• Unique blend of technical, business, and project skills that enables vision and ownership of a given technology or system
• Strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Requires deep technical understanding of BSP/Hypervisor, Linux/Android/SafeRTOS, Security/Safety, and generally a good understanding of how the manufacturing of IVI products works during different stages.
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Own the system under test (SUT) Architecture Define what the ECU is at each lifecycle stage (HW, SW, test SW); ensure a consistent and scalable system definition.
• Derive SUT System Requirements Translate product/system understanding into testable requirements; ensure completeness, correctness, and consistency for validation and production.
• Define Related System Architecture Ensure the ECU architecture supports validation, integration, and production; drive observability, controllability, and diagnosability decisions.
• Align Architecture with Validation Needs Work closely with validation teams; ensure the system provides required capabilities for SIL/HIL/EOL validation.
• Shape Production-Relevant Capabilities Ensure ECU supports flashing, provisioning, diagnostics, failure detection, and analysis; derive system requirements enabling production ramp-up.
• Define Validation-Relevant System Interfaces ECU test systems, ECU vehicle/network, ECU manufacturing systems; focus on what the ECU must support, not how test systems are built.
• Act as Cross-Domain System Architect Align system engineering, software, validation, and industrialization teams; ensure shared understanding of system behavior, constraints, and required test capabilities.
