Junior Business Analyst

Spendbase is a fast-growing fintech SaaS company helping businesses take control over their spending. We're scaling fast across global markets and looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our team.

This is a hands-on role focused on data architecture, analytics, and business intelligence. If you have a true "developer mindset," love diving deep into data, and know how to effectively leverage modern AI tools to find solutions and learn independently, we'd love to talk :)

What You'll Do

• Normalize raw data, clean up spreadsheets, and build basic reports in HubSpot and via SQL
• Build analytical reports based on product usage (e.g., tracking user steps, logins, and feature engagement) using Grafana
• Maintain data hygiene across our CRM and databases, proactively detecting duplicates, formatting errors, or missing data
• Formulate data tracking requirements and create tasks for the development team to ensure the right data is sent to our CRM
• Actively leverage AI tools to parse technical documentation, troubleshoot, and optimise your daily workflows independently
  
  

What We're Looking For

• A strong technical, systemic "developer mindset" with exceptional attention to detail
• SQL Foundations: Ability to write SELECT statements, JOIN multiple tables, use conditional logic, and aggregate functions
• Spreadsheet Proficiency: Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and raw data cleanup
• Basic BI Knowledge: Exposure to or willingness to learn visualisation tools like Grafana, Power BI or Tableau
• Basic CRM Understanding: Basic familiarity with objects (Contacts, Accounts, Deals/Opportunities) in Salesforce, HubSpot, or a similar CRM
• Ability to independently use AI tools to read documentation and solve technical challenges without explicit instructions
  
  

Nice to have

• Major in Economics or Economic Cybernetics
• Experience building automated workflows using integration platforms (e.g., n8n, Make, or Zapier), including configuring REST API calls and transforming/manipulating incoming data
• Previous experience working with data (Data Analyst intern, etc.)
