Microgrid Country Manager (W/M/O)

For our client—one of the world’s leading manufacturers of industrial machinery and technology solutions—we are looking for a Country Manager.

The company develops and delivers advanced solutions in renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), photovoltaic (PV) systems, and microgrid projects for industrial, infrastructure, and energy-sector clients.

Tasks:

• Develop and execute the business development strategy for Microgrid Solutions in Ukraine.
• Identify and acquire new customers for projects involving photovoltaic (PV) installations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), hybrid energy systems, and microgrid solutions.
• Build and develop relationships with industrial clients, infrastructure companies, logistics operators, data centers, manufacturing facilities, and energy-sector companies.
• Manage the entire sales process, from identifying business opportunities through negotiations to contract signing.
• Develop cooperation with local partners, developers, system integrators, EPC contractors, and technology providers.
• Collaborate closely with international technical, project, and product teams.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities.
• Represent the company at business meetings, industry conferences, and market events.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or project development within the energy, renewable energy, energy storage, or energy infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully securing and delivering projects related to PV, BESS, microgrids, distributed energy, or energy solutions for industrial clients.
• Good knowledge of the Ukrainian energy and renewable energy market.
• Experience in commercial negotiations and building long-term business relationships.
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment.
• Strong independence, entrepreneurial mindset, and results-oriented approach.
• Very good command of English.
