Description

Our Customer is one of the biggest companies on the market of home entertainment consumer electronics devices that strives to provide their clients with high-quality products and services.

Project goals include automation testing of the video and audio content and other services available via digital media players using a custom test automation framework.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Python coding and development skills;
• Experience developing and maintaining automation solutions and test scripts;
• Ability to write, understand, debug, and improve Python code;
• Understanding of Page Object pattern and other automation patterns;
• Цorking knowledge of at least one Linux/Unix-based platform as well as Windows;
• Understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and artifacts;
• Experience with Scrum/Agile;
• Good communication and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills;
• Highly motivated, energetic, and able to easily switch between assignments.
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Working with an established automation test framework and infrastructure;
• Developing and maintaining Python-based automation scripts;
• Developing new automation solutions and enhancing existing ones;
• Code review;
• Debugging Python code and investigating technical issues;
• Creating bug reports and technical documentation;
• Communication with international teams (US, UK);
• Manual testing activities – approximately 20%.
