Lead Performance Test Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Performance Test Engineer to be part of our team.

You will play a key role in building an Automated Test Suite as part of our Tech Debt Remediation Program across a variety of Java-based projects. If you have a strong enthusiasm for performance testing and automation, we welcome your application.

Kindly note that this role supports remote work, but only from within Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Develop baseline performance testing scripts for Java-based systems
• Capture and document baseline performance metrics to evaluate system functionality pre-modernization
• Integrate performance testing workflows within CI/CD pipelines for automated validations
• Pinpoint performance bottlenecks and deliver actionable recommendations for resolution
• Prepare detailed performance test reports to keep stakeholders informed
• Collaborate with development teams to align testing efforts with modernization objectives
• Maintain and improve upon existing performance testing frameworks and tools
• Conduct code reviews to uphold testing best practices
• Provide support for diagnosing and solving performance-related issues
• Remain informed about emerging trends in performance testing and automation
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in performance testing
• Proficiency in tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, or similar for performance scripting
• Strong ability to analyze and document performance benchmarks
• Proficiency in integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
• Familiarity with Java applications and associated testing methodologies
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile workflows
• Fluency in English
