Description

You will work on a healthcare technology platform where mobile and backend software directly support a medical device used to treat pain in real-world clinical settings. The system already has active users and production constraints, and the focus of the project is to strengthen its technical foundation, improve reliability, and fix critical user-facing issues that affect authentication, session stability, notifications, and accessibility.

Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Flutter Engineer to join a small, hands-on team developing a regulated medical mobile product and its connected-device integrations. The engineer will work closely with engineering leadership, product, and business stakeholders, taking ownership from technical discovery through production

delivery.

Technical experience

• Strong production experience with Flutter and Dart for iOS and Android.
• Mobile architecture, state management such as BLoC/Cubit, dependency injection, modular components, and maintainable API boundaries.
• REST API integration, asynchronous workflows, secure local storage, authentication, and application security.
• Bluetooth Low Energy and connected-device integration experience.
• Ability to investigate native issues in Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android; experience with Flutter platform channels is valuable.
• Unit, widget, integration, and hardware-assisted testing.
• Mobile CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Fastlane, TestFlight, and Google Play delivery.
• Experience with regulated, healthcare, safety-critical, or privacy-sensitive software is highly desirable.
• Web frontend experience is useful but secondary to strong Flutter/mobile expertise.

• The candidate should be comfortable working in a small team close to the business, translating evolving requirements into technically sound increments, and making pragmatic decisions when complete information is unavailable. We value engineers who communicate risks early, challenge unsafe assumptions, propose discovery spikes where needed, and can adapt or re-scope work based on technical evidence.
