Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Developer & Team Leader to play a pivotal role in maintaining and elevating our Frontend architecture, while guiding and inspiring our engineering team. Our platform is a financial SaaS featuring a complex UI driven by heavy data manipulation, dynamic charts, custom canvases, and highly interactive tables.

We need a visionary engineer who writes clean, hyper-optimized code, holds a proven track record of leading software development teams, and possesses the patience, strategic mindset, and passion to mentor junior and mid-level peers while driving technical excellence.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

Experience: 5+ years of proven track record developing complex, large-scale web applications (SPA/SaaS).

Proven leadership experience as a Team Leader or Engineering Lead, with a demonstrated history of successfully managing, guiding, and scaling software engineering teams.

Technical Expertise: Deep mastery of React, state management, and performance optimization for heavy data structures and interactive UI elements.

State Management: Impeccable understanding of both global and local state management patterns (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.).

Performance Engineering: Demonstrated track record of delivering complex, data-heavy web applications from architectural design to production. Demonstrated experience optimizing large-scale React apps using useMemo, useCallback, and list/table virtualization.

Quality Focus: A strong commitment to writing highly testable code, backed by experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).

AI-Assisted Development: Ability to work “agentically”—leveraging modern AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to accelerate delivery, explore technical solutions, and optimize workflows, while rigorously maintaining code quality and security.

Soft Skills: Outstanding communication skills, technical leadership capabilities, and a proactive mindset toward tackling technical debt.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Implementation: Design and build complex UI features, including custom canvas modules, massive data tables, and probabilistic charts.

Performance Optimization: Drive extreme application performance tuning, focusing on efficient state management and eliminating unnecessary re-renders.

Technical Leadership: Provide rigorous code reviews and mentorship for junior and mid-level developers through pair programming and establishing coding standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage in the “Three Amigos” process with Business Analysts and QA to ensure business logic is perfectly mapped to the UI before engineering begins.

Tooling & Infrastructure: Actively participate in tooling decisions, such as optimizing Vite configurations, driving migrations, and managing dependencies.

Leading: Lead, mentor, and scale a team of frontend engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and clean code.

Balance hands-on architectural design with team management, code reviews, and resource planning.

Oversee the evolution of our complex financial SaaS Frontend architecture.
