A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Economist, you will coordinate and be responsible for all financial aspects of the project to ensure commercially sound management and obtain the best possible cost/benefit ratio, where you will work together with the Sales/Project Managers and the project execution team to achieve high level of customer satisfaction.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Commercial support for the provision of engineering services (cross-border projects);
• Preparation of contract documentation, orders, calculations, commercial justifications, invoices, and reports required for project execution;
• Ensuring that the commercial aspects of project activities are conducted in accordance with Siemens Energy project execution guidelines;
• Initiation and support of international assignments for the engineering team: initiate and monitor the travel approval process, prepare cost estimates, coordinate clarifications between regional entities, coordinate the provision of necessary documents (e.g., visa, international passport, international driving license, ticket reservations, medical insurance, certificates and their translation, invitation letters, declarations, etc.);
• Ensuring the accurate and timely review of employees' travel expenses according to internal and external regulations to ensure timely and accurate allocation to projects;

What You Bring

• Professional experience as an economist or financial specialist
• Good knowledge of English is required (written and spoken)
• Strong initiative, ability to work independently, self-management skills
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of German would be an additional asset
• Knowledge of SAP would be an asset
