humedica e.V., a well-established German humanitarian organization with over four decades of experience, has been actively involved in Ukraine for more than 10 years. Since the beginning of the war in 2022, humedica has significantly expanded its operations to address the pressing needs arising from the crisis. Specializing in intervention within the health sector, but also involved in food, water, sanitation, and shelter sectors, humedica is committed to providing comprehensive relief to those affected by the conflict.

Finance Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Bank Reconciliation: Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled with bank statements
- Expense Management: Verify and process employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by organizing financial documentation and reports.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
- Other: Scanning documents, interact with Logistics & Procurement department regarding missing documents
HR Support Responsibilities
- Employee Records Management: Maintain and update HR databases, contracts, and personnel files.
- Recruitment Assistance: Support job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Assist with new employee documentation and exit processes.
- Payroll Coordination: Provide employee data for payroll processing and resolve basic payroll queries.
- HR Compliance: Ensure employee policies and procedures are followed.

Required Qualifications und Competencies:
Formal Qualifications/Competencies:
(English): B1;
Professional skills:
Proficient in: finance, hr documentations (legal);
Practices: stocks management;
Knows: mechanics, driving;
Emergency preparedness and response: practices;
Cross cutting skills:
Practices: Office and collaborative tools, stress management, collaboration in global organization, compliance to internal standards;
Personal competencies:
Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment requiring flexibility;
Autonomous but also a good team player;
Advanced computer literacy are essential requirement.
Good capacity to withstand pressure and manage stress.
