Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer

We are seeking a Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer to design, architect, and optimize enterprise-grade reporting and analytics solutions. This role is ideal for a senior professional with deep expertise in Microsoft Power BI, advanced data modeling, SQL, and modern analytics architectures, capable of driving reporting standards and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Kindly note that this role supports remote work, but only from within Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, governed reporting architectures using Microsoft Power BI
• Define strategies for semantic models, dataset architecture, workspace governance, and report scalability
• Develop and optimize complex dashboards, interactive visualizations, and executive-level reports
• Create advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and reusable reporting components
• Configure row-level security (RLS) and implement robust data access controls
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to define, validate, and optimize curated datasets
• Ensure data transformations comply with enterprise standards and maintain high data quality
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize report and dataset performance
• Establish best practices for report lifecycle management, deployment, and governance
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and version control strategies for Power BI artifacts
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements
• Define documentation standards, naming conventions, and reporting development guidelines
• Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of analytics and visualization practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service), including advanced DAX and enterprise data modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
• Strong proficiency in SQL for Data Analytics, including writing and optimizing complex queries
• Solid experience with Data Analytics and Visualization and modern Data Visualization Tools
• Experience designing enterprise-scale reporting and analytics solutions
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and modern analytics architecture
• Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure; experience with Databricks is a plus
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, version control, and Power BI deployment pipelines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
