About The Job

We are looking for an experienced District Manager responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy in the OTC pharmaceutical market in Ukraine. The person in this role will act as a key partner for the Marketing, Supply Chain, and Business Strategy departments, ensuring sales force effectiveness, driving product portfolio development, and building the company’s competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve competitive advantage and maximize business performance results
• Build, lead, and develop a team of Pharmaceutical Representatives within the assigned territory
• Manage the sales team by setting KPIs, monitoring performance, and driving operational effectiveness
• Collaborate with the OTC Marketing department on product portfolio development and execution of marketing and trade marketing strategies
• Develop and execute sales plans in cooperation with cross-functional teams across the organization
• Co-create and implement commercial policies across pharmaceutical channels, including pharmacies, pharmacy chains, and wholesalers
• Ensure product availability, distribution, and visibility in the OTC market while managing the A&P budget, optimizing spend, and cooperating with Supply Chain and SFE teams on reporting, analytics, and tool development
  
  

About You

• Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical (OTC) or FMCG industry
• Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving business objectives
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Trade Marketing teams
• Ability to develop and implement sales strategies as well as manage budgets effectively
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with KPIs and sales data to drive decision-making
• Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and distribution channels, including pharmacies, pharmacy chains, and wholesalers
• Experience in change management and implementation of new business solutions
• University degree (preferred fields: Management, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related disciplines)
• Very good command of the English language
