Description

Our client is developing an advanced industrial asset intelligence platform engineered to drive digital aftermarket transformation and equipment lifecycle monetization. The system integrates edge hardware telemetry, on-premise production software, cloud data warehouses, and generative AI to deliver a unified real-time asset tracking, service optimization, and aftermarket commerce experience for factory operators, field service engineers, and distributors.

The platform architecture centers on a multi-tenant Microsoft Azure cloud foundation anchored by Azure App Services, Static Web Apps, Azure Container Registry (ACR), Alpine Linux container environments, Helm 3.x charts, Snowflake data warehousing, and Azure OpenAI Service.

The engineering initiative focuses on architecting automated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, establishing enterprise CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps, configuring Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Azure Defender, integrating static code security analysis (SonarQube), and managing end-to-end observability (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics) across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture and DevSecOps, with a specialized focus on Microsoft Azure enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (AzureRM).
• Deep expertise in designing, automating, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines via Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines.
• Proven experience in containerization and cloud orchestration using Azure Container Registry (ACR), Helm 3.x charts, and Alpine Linux container images.
• Expert-level knowledge of cloud security, networking, Web Application Firewall (WAF) configuration, Azure Defender scanning, Azure Key Vault secrets management, and Azure RBAC authorization models.
• Solid background in observability, centralized log management, and performance analytics using Azure Monitor, Azure Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Practical experience integrating static code quality gates (SonarQube) and automated test management tools within deployment pipelines.
• Solid understanding of underlying cloud database and messaging infrastructure, including Azure SQL Managed Instance, Snowflake, Redis Cache, and Azure Service Bus.
• Self-organized personality with strong verbal/written communication skills for leading cloud engineering teams and presenting architectural solutions to technical stakeholders..
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end cloud infrastructure topology, environment strategies (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod), and DevSecOps deployment frameworks.
• Build, configure, and manage scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules using Terraform for cloud resource provisioning.
• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support Angular frontend builds, .NET 8 backend microservices, and Python AI components.
• Configure and manage container repositories, image vulnerability scanning, and release orchestration via ACR and Helm 3.x.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, metrics collection, log aggregation, and alert management frameworks across all active cloud environments.
• Address cloud infrastructure security risks, managing network boundaries, WAF rules, identity access controls (Azure Entra External ID), and secret rotation schemes.
• Apply automation techniques to streamline dynamic feature flag management, app configurations, and multi-tenant resource provisioning.
• Deliver technical leadership to DevOps engineers, conduct rigorous infrastructure reviews, and collaborate directly with backend leads, frontend architects, and product managers.
